Hello! Thank you for visiting my portfolio site. My name is Matt Mickelson and I am a multimedia designer with a focus on graphic design. As a native Minnesotan, I have the opportunity to be around a diverse and thriving arts community. This has offered me incredible creative inspiration, both personally and professionally.

I am currently working as a self-employed graphic designer. The last year brought a brief pause in my career path as I addressed a medical issue. I am grateful that my health has improved and I am ready to get back to working with a great team of people.

My goal is to become an integral part of a business that prioritizes employee success, and in return give all of the skills, experience and creativity that I possess.

I love the outdoors (which is probably obvious from my photography) and enjoy biking, hiking and climbing. Recently I ventured into gardening and have learned to appreciate the perseverance and skill it takes to nurture a plant and watch it grow and thrive.

I love to learn new things and explore different possibilities; to look at things from new and interesting angles and draw inspiration from it.
